Krivan – house for mountaineers__task was to design an experimental living in cube with dimensions of 6x6x6 metres…I decided to limit living space in 4x4x5..and wrap it with sloped geometric form (deformed parallelogramic prism) that (thanks to the aerodynamics of it) allows the wind blow around the house like it blows around the peeks…and the form also adapts to the context of mountain environment….so from every single view, it looks like it is becoming a part of a silhouette of mountains…Name of the house is called by one of the mountain/peek in high tatras called Krivan…which is actually a slovak noun created of adjective “krivý” –> crooked/or obliqued…and an interior of house is devided by the cardinal points, the second floor (which is the night part of house)situated on the east side allows morning light right at the sleeping zone.kitchen, known as the most and still heated zone in house is placed at the north side…sun in afternoon and evening time heats and illuminates the terrace, living room and clamped relaxing net (at the sencond floor)…
